Lisa Radosta DVM, DACVB

Dr. Radosta graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. After completing an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Coral Springs Animal Hospital, she worked as a primary care veterinarian for 2 1/2 years. She completed a 3-year residency in Behavioral Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania in 2006 and passed the board examination later that year. During her residency, she was awarded the American College of Veterinary Behaviorists Resident research award two years in a row. In 2005, she went to Baton Rouge, Louisiana to volunteer in the efforts to help animals stranded by Hurricane Katrina. She has owned her own practice-Florida Veterinary Behavior Service since 2007.  

Dr. Radosta lectures nationally and internationally for veterinarians, their staff and lay people. She has written book chapters for textbooks including Handbook of Behavior Problems of the Dog and Cat; Blackwell’s Five MInute Veterinary Consult: Canine and Feline and Small Animal Pediatrics. She has published scientific research articles in Journal of Applied Animal Behavior Science and The Veterinary Journal and written review articles for Advances in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery, Compendium, NAVC Clinician’s Brief and AAHA Newstat. She has been interviewed for many publications including Cat Fancy, Dog Fancy, Palm Beach Post, NAVC Clinician’s Brief, Sun Sentinel, WebMD and AAHA News Stat. She has appeared on Lifetime television, Laurie LIve, News Channel 25 (West Palm Beach, WPBF), Mitch Wilder's Amazing Pet Discoveries, News Channel 10  (Miami, ABC) and Steve Dale's Pet Talk.  She writes a column for the Palm Beach Post and the Purely Puppy blog for PetMD. 

Dr. Radosta has participated in tracking, obedience, herding and therapy dog work with personal dogs--always Rottweilers. Currently, she shares her life with two cats and a dog.

Brittney has been with Florida Veterinary Behavior Service since 2010. If you call for information or to make an appointment, need a prescription refill or need information, you will probably talk to Brittney. She shares her life with a Cockapoo that she loves dearly.

Cheryl, M.eD
Behavior Modification Assistant

Cheryl started out as a client in 2009 and started assisting with Reactive Dog Class since 2010. She started working in the clinic in 2012.  If you come into the clinic with your pet, you will probably meet Cheryl. She also teaches Nosework classes and is active in Treiball and tracking with her German Shepherd Dog. She is working toward her certification as a Nosework instructor and her CPDT-KA certification. Cheryl shares her life with a Cockatoo, a cat, and a Pekinese in addition to her German Shepherd.
Kait CVT, KPCT
Veterinary Behavior Nurse

Kait started working with us in 2012. She is certified veterinary technician and a Karen Pryor Clicker Training Academy trainer. If you come to the clinic with your pet, you will most likely meet Kait. She assists with Reactive Dog Class, and conducts behavior modification sessions in the clinic and at client’s homes. She shares her life with 2 cats, a Chesapeake Bay Retriever and a Miniature Dachshund.
